How to Make Better Decisions More Often

Studies say, the average person makes about 35,000 decisions per day.

If you can’t think of 50 decisions you made in the last hour, then who is making them?

So, if you aren’t actually making the majority of the decisions, what part of the mind is responsible for your decision making?

Clearly, that part of the mind is to blame for that bad decision to have another slice of pizza, to choose to pay way too much for those shoes, or not quitting while you were ahead at the blackjack table!

There are 3 pillars that each contribute equally to your decision-making ability:

  • Your State
  • Your Beliefs
  • Your Vision

Having awareness, a solid understanding, and even mastering any one of these will change your life. But, when you harness the power of all three areas, the entire trajectory of your life will change, no matter where you currently are and no matter how far you want to go.

Your State of Being

The first step in abundance in all areas of life – finance, relationships, health, etc. All start with mastering your State of Being.

Having the ability to shift into a state of Inner Peace regardless of outer turmoil is a skill we can all learn.

That part of the mind that has taken every event, encounter, and situation assigned meaning to them all, and turned them into your beliefs. So, each one of those beliefs is the foundation of every one of those decisions.

It becomes easy to see that every area of your life right now is a reflection of everything you believe to be true.

  • Your health is a reflection of what you believe regarding the value of nutrition and exercise.
  • Your finances are a reflection of what you believe you are worth.
  • Your relationships are a reflection of what you believe you deserve.

Once you assigned new meaning to the events of your life, your entire life will change.

There is a saying that people spend more time planning a vacation than they do their lives.

In order to have a prosperous life, in all areas, we must be completely aligned in thought, action, and goals.

If any area of life is a struggle there is a disconnect between them.

More often than not, we don’t have a clear vision about what we want for our life, let alone who we need to be in order to achieve that goal.

We must start each day with a vision of how we need to show up in order to leave a lasting legacy.

Equally as important is ending each day with accountability to that Vision.
