This is what it took for Sanja to do this podcast!  Whatever it takes to get out of our comfort zone! Cheers to…

Episode #100!

In this episode the tables are turned and I am interviewed! This was a very fun and completely unscripted conversation that I had with my dear friend Sanja Hatter.  You may recognize the name, as she is the wife of Cole Hatter, from my very first episode.  (He also is returning next week!)  Some of the topics we talked about include the difference between being nice and being kind, living a life of intention, and whether we are hard wired through some DNA programming, or if it’s life experiences that determine our purpose.

For this blog I will highlight one of these topics, one that is near and dear to my heart: “How do I find my calling?”  I really don’t believe that it has to do with finding our purpose as much as it is about remembering who we are and our true nature.  Go back to your childhood and reflect back on what mattered to you, what you cared about, or what you found fascinating. Sometimes those clues can be found in anything from an interest in astronomy, and other times they may show up in a swimming lesson.  Regardless of the setting, I can assure you… those unique qualities that make you, YOU have always been there.

If we all could go back and remember who we were before society, our family, and our obligations took a hold of our life and shaped us into someone often we don’t even recognize anymore, finding our purpose would be effortless.  Because our purpose, our natural talent, and our greatest gifts are always there.  The key is believing in ourselves enough to pursue our dream even when it goes against other people’s plans for our life.  If you aren’t there now, surround yourself with people that believe in you and encourage you to get out of your comfort zone. (See Sanja, it wasn’t really that bad!)  I hope you find the encouragement you need through this podcast, as that was the intention behind starting it in the first place.  Your life wasn’t meant to merely exist, it was meant for you to Thrive!  (Another reason to join us this year: www.attendthrive.com)

Thank you for joining me on this journey over the last 100 episodes.   It truly has been my pleasure sharing my guests, my friends, and my life with you.  Your support means everything to me.  Here’s to the next 100 episodes!

With celebratory gratitude,

Michelle Dutro
